My Take:
I’ve been watching Parssinen closely, and I think he has the potential to be a solid middle-six center in this league. He’s got good size, hockey sense, and a decent scoring touch. Unfortunately, he’s stuck behind some established veterans in Nashville, and it’s hindering his development.
A trade could be the best thing for both parties. The Predators could get a decent return for a player who isn’t in their long-term plans, and Parssinen could get a chance to play a bigger role on a team that needs him.
