Winnipeg Sun: Jets General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff is still looking for help up front. The Jets have looked at bringing in right-winger Lee Stempniak (he could be signing with the New York Rangers soon), other UFA’s that could fit the bill on a short-term deal include David Booth and Daniel Winnick.

Denver Post: It appear Ryan O’Reilly is headed to arbitration on Wednesday. He will likely want a 1-year deal and more than likely he will be traded either before the season starts or at some point during the season.

NHL.com: The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed defenseman Simon Despres to a two-year contract. Despres contract has an average annual value (AAV) of $900,000.

Harvey Fialkov: Florida Panthers GM Dave Tallon still looking to trade a young defensemen for veteran d-man or scorer. Sounds like Robak and Petro are on the block.
