The Montreal Canadiens are looking to trade d-man Josh Gorges and this has come as a shock to him.
The Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens have a trade in place that would see Montreal defenseman Josh Gorges head to Toronto, if he waives his no-trade clause.
Gorges to the Jounal de Montreal: “I have never asked for a trade, this is the call of Marc Bergevin. I am in shock.”
Josh Gorges situation in MTL problematic for all. MTL had deal with TOR but Gorges refused to waive modified NTC to go to TOR. Still won't.
