Kris Letang trade rumors
Will the Montreal Canadiens make a trade for Kris Letang?

Is Montreal interested in Kris Letang?

The Fourth Period: The Montreal Canadiens have been looking for a puck-moving defenceman since the off-season, along with a top-center, and when Kris Letang’s name surfaced last week prior to the holiday roster freeze, it didn’t come as a shock to see the Habs linked to him. The Penguins have expressed interest in forward Alex Galchenyuk multiple times in the past, and it could be assumed Pittsburgh would want him in any deal involving Letang.

Derick Brassard open to being traded

The Score: The Ottawa Senators are expected to be sellers ahead of the Feb. 26 nhl trade deadline. Derick Brassard is open to being traded and is quoted, “Let’s say it it this way: I will play hockey anywhere.” “I’ll play anywhere. I wouldn’t refuse to go anywhere in the world or anywhere in the East.” Should Brassard be on the move, he’ll have some say in his destination, as his contract carries an eight-team no-trade list.

Arizona looking to trade Anthony Duclair

Sportsnet: Elliotte Friedman is reporting the Arizona Coyotes are believed to be actively shopping young forward Anthony Duclair. Duclair has been the subject of trade speculation for well over a year, as he’s never truly clicked in the Coyotes organization since being acquired from the New York Rangers. It’s unclear what the Coyotes are looking for, or if they’re trying to package him in a larger deal. Several teams would certainly have interest in Duclair, depending on the price tag.
