What are NHL fans saying about Alex Ovechkin’s record breaking 40 goal seasons

Amazing goal scorer, he might already have reached Gretzky’s record if not for the lookouts.

Difficult to compare these two. Gretzky was the far better player but Ovechkin arguably the greatest goal scorer of all-time.

Alex Ovechkin is the best pure goal scorer ever. He’s done it all, Ovechkin is Top 5 of all-time. Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, Howe, Ovechkin. No particular order.
