The action kicks off internationally with the Global Series in Czechia on October 4, featuring the Buffalo Sabres facing off against the New Jersey Devils at the O2 Arena in Prague. The North American opener follows on October 8, with the Florida Panthers raising their Stanley Cup banner in a game against the Boston Bruins.
Other notable dates include the Discover NHL Winter Classic on December 31 at Wrigley Field, featuring the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks, and the new 4 Nations Face-Off event in February, bringing together top NHL players from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States.
The season will conclude on April 17, with each team playing 82 games. Fans can expect exciting matchups, including a rematch of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers on December 16.
